Eccezionale is an exclusive product crafted in Italy that bridges the charm of the past with the refinement of contemporary design. It embodies the simplicity and authenticity of a traditional coffee maker, reimagined through a modern lens. With Eccezionale, the experience goes beyond functionality; it invites the consumer to experience the essence of coffee itself through smell, feel, and taste.
The design draws inspiration from Italy’s iconic ceramic tiles, reinterpreting their rich colours and textures to evoke nostalgia and craftsmanship. Its rounded, conical form pays homage to the original moka pot, celebrating the heritage of Italian coffee culture while presenting a sleek, modern silhouette.

Eccezionale is inspired by Italian nostalgia reinterpreted through modern design. Its rounded, conical form takes cues from the traditional moka pot, a symbol of comfort, warmth, and daily ritual. Complementing this, the coloured ceramic tiles found in Italian kitchens and cafés shaped the textures and visual identity, evoking craftsmanship, cultural memory, and Italy’s timeless artistic heritage.
The art direction seamlessly merges Italian nostalgia with modern minimalism, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and refined. Inspired by ceramic tile colours, earthy reds, warm creams, and deep blues, the palette evokes tradition through a contemporary lens.
Simple, harmonious compositions centre on the coffee maker’s conical form, while glossy ceramics, metallic finishes, and subtle reflections highlight craftsmanship and tactile pleasure. The inclusion of bubbles, steam, and motion adds a sensory layer that recalls the sound, smell, and rhythm of making coffee.
When I created the marketing of Eccezionale, I created the images as an exclusive, design-led product that embodies Italian craftsmanship and lifestyle. More than a coffee maker, it became a symbol of modern Italian living — elegant, authentic, and rooted in tradition.
The communication balanced heritage and innovation, celebrating everyday rituals and the sensory pleasure of coffee. Visually, the campaign extended the art direction through warm, tactile imagery and minimal compositions, focusing on form, texture, and atmosphere to evoke the warmth and rhythm of Italian coffee culture.
